Within the Starlight Reserve, there are two types of zones:
- Core zones, where the natural lighting of the night sky remains virtually untouched. These are the darkest areas with the best conditions for astronomical observation.
- Buffer zones, like the one where our hotel is located, which surround the core zones and have specific regulations to reduce light pollution. Here, artificial lights are carefully managed to ensure they do not interfere with sky visibility, allowing for an incredible stargazing experience without being completely isolated.

In Playas de Fornells, where our hotel is located, light pollution is very low. This means that, as night falls, the sky fills with thousands of stars and planets visible to the naked eye. You don’t need a telescope or special equipment—just a bit of patience and a comfortable lounge chair to marvel at the vastness of the universe.
